15 - What comes out of the mouth defiles a person, the Canaanite woman's great faith, healing of crowds, feeding of 4000 with 7 loaves and a few small fish
The Pharisees criticize the disciples for breaking the tradition of their elders by not washing their hands when they eat, but Jesus reveals their hypocrisy in dishonoring fathers and mothers by supporting the practice of giving money to the church instead of supporting your parents. Jesus goes to Tyre and Sidon where he ignores a Canaanite woman crying for help for her daughter oppressed by a demon, eventually pressed to tell her He won't take bread from Israel's children to give to dogs. She says yet even dogs eat crumbs that fall from their masters' table. Her great faith moved Jesus to give her her desire, and her daughter was healed instantly. Moving to a mountain near the Sea of Galilee, great crowds brought their blind, crippled, mute, and others to His feet. He healed them, and the crowds glorified God. After three days with Him, the crowds had nothing to eat, so Jesus expressed his compassion and gathered the disciples' remaining 7 loaves and a few small fish, gave thanks, and had the disciples distribute them. All 4000 men besides women and children were satisfied, and 7 baskets of broken pieces were left over. Jesus sent away the crowds and traveled to Magadan by boat.
